[The whir climbs in pitch, getting louder and almost painful- and for just a second, every Participant in the trial room, human or not, organic or not, feels a weird sort of rumbling in their gut. Like really bad indigestion or building gas? But gone in a second.]
[And then, in the space of a second, one at a time or in twos and threes, every one of you suddenly bursts, feeling nothing, your consciousness plunging into darkness.]
