Murder Mock Week OOC Mingle!
Hello everyone! And welcome to the first Murder Mock Week, which will hopefull serve as a test run for a future, full-length murdergame! We've got some time left before the game proper starts, so let's use this time to get to know each other and make any plans you'd like for the game.

This time I have an OC for your enjoyment! Her name is Meredith Seaver and she is a perfectly ordinary teenage girl. She is absolutely not a robot, or a magical girl, or literally a character archetype incarnated as a person, and she is especially not some combination of all three.

In the campaign she was in, the world ended in fire and fury, and she and the other vampires of Los Angeles have to rebuild their vampire society while dealing with humans that want to kill them and other supernatural creatures. She had a lot of dumb adventures and has a lot of anger issues because of her backstory. Sonia is a bit of a hacker and a lawyer, being the last surviving member of her Fancy Rich Family House she was adopted into and will do anything to rebuild it, which fits her title of The Bootstrapper

Janet is, in her canon, basically if Alexa and Google made a beautiful baby that could manifest whatever you asked for and had all the knowledge in the universe with no risk of popup ads or viruses and also she works for Heaven/"The Good Place". Her title is, bless Phas, The Janet.
I'm still waffling over canon points but since TGP is a show best gone into blind I'm probably going to try to be careful of spoilers.

This jerk here is Emma Price, she’s a very, very minor YouTube celebrity that specializes in “hunting” ghosts and cryptids with her partner Ash. They are both well aware of how Daley it all is and mostly do it for the money because having a dynamic where one taunts the ghost is enough to pay the bills usually. Emma herself plays the part of the skeptic but deep down secretly wishes to have proof of the supernatural and that’s why she resorts to extreme measures by doing dumb stuff like laying down in pentagrams and yelling at demons
And then one time they had a run in with a demon worshiping cult and found out that demons and ghost do in fact exist
So that was fun
Anyway she’s not gonna stop that and will continue to do stupid shit throughout her stay here. Honestly don’t expect her to make it past the first week alive

Michael is a demon who probably would have preferred if that hadn't just been made public knowledge, but okay. It's fine! Hey, at least his BFF Janet is here! His title, The Architect, refers to the job he's been assigned in Hell/"The Bad Place" - but he also definitely can design a building if that ever becomes necessary!

team fortress 2 may be over a decade old now but thats not gonna stop me from playing the characters from it
anyway for those of you who dont know, Spy is an incredibly self-important jackass who thinks he's better than everyone else, who spends his days disguising himself as enemies who are clones of his own teammates, backstabbing them, and generally being a nuisance. There's a lot more nuance to him than that, of course, but the man is incredibly private and not willing to let anyone know more about him than necessary.
He's also nowhere near as important as he thinks he is and, much like literally everyone else in TF2, he does some incredibly stupid shit. "coaching a child to stab Australian Santa to death", "disguising himself as Tom Jones in order to lie to his estranged, dying son", and "hiding a miniature dining set, wine bottle, and game hen in his false molars so he can have a last meal the size of his fingernail before his execution" are just a few examples of canon things this man has done.
I'm looking forward to screwing around with the balance between "inflated ego" and "screams "SEDUCE ME" and then dances with a crash test dummy"

this time im bringing you mob aka shigeo kageyama from mob psycho 100, that other anime by ONE (one punch man's creator). mob is a fourteen year old boy born with psychic powers that are strongly connected to his emotions. if he experiences any kind of strong emotion, his powers will reach 100% (hence his title, the 100%) and he'll go absolutely fucking berserk. because of an incident involving this and almost killing his younger brother, mob has resigned to never feeling strong emotions ever again and thus leads a... pretty boring, deadpan life.
of course he still experiences emotions like anyone else but he tries his hardest to keep them down at all times. he can be a bit naive and gullible as well, and likes to put his trust and beliefs in people even going as far as to try to make friends with someone who was actively trying to kill him and he can't read a room to save his fucking life
anyway before i ramble anymore ill stop here. i look forward to playing with you all for these two weeks!!!

Kara is one of many androids created to serve humans and not feel emotions even though they can totally feel emotions except they can't, you guys. Anyway, she kicks her abusive owner's ass and escapes with his abused daughter, and now they're both on the run from the cops!There's also this whole thing about getting to Canada. It's not fully thought out.
Anyway, Kara's nice, and naturally sweet. And definitely not gonna like that everyone knows that she- The Runaway - is an Android. It'll be exciting. Hope you all enjoy her.

Helena is from Orphan Black, a series which has been over for a year and change so I don't feel bad telling you it's about clones! Also they reveal that it's about clones at the end of the second episode, so. She's a Ukrainian clone who was found by a religious order who see the cloning project all the main characters come from as an affont to God, and from around ten she's been manipulated, abused, and lied to so that she can be used as a weapon against the rest of the operation. Things eventually get better for her, but sadly I play from season 1! So at this point in time she's still a fanatically religious serial killer on a divine mission to kill all her fellow clones, because she's been told that they're all soulless copies of her, The Original. She also is like..... a walking self-harm and abuse content warning (there are some nonexplicit deets on her journal in a permissions post) which I will definitely be warning for if it ever comes up, but if you'd rather not get tagged by her at all you can comment on that post and tell me! Outside of her canon, however, she's a weird, half-feral but polite woman who loves children, can't sing, steals sugar packets, and cut off a guy's tail and went raving with it this one time.

aren here! miss you guys dearly!! mamimi here is from flcl, an anime classic with a kickin' soundtrack that's notorious for playing fast and loose with its storytelling. in spite of that, the show absolutely speaks for itself, and any explanation i could give here wouldn't do it any justice at all, so i'd give it a watch if it somehow managed to slip under your radar; if nothing else, it's a spectacular feat of animation and sound direction!
