Ceasefire - The Way Out

[And then you wake up.]

[The room is dimly lit and made of pitted, industrial metals. You sit up abruptly on- some sort of padded table or cart? There’s a caged structure of metal piping surrounding you like a low barrier, but it’s open on top. You might similarly have a moment of panic about the straps holding you down or the electrodes on your head, but they’re just velcro and lightly tacked on, respectively, and in no significant way prevent you from sitting bolt upright and getting onto your feet. A series of twenty one such tables ring the room at even intervals. All but one has an occupant.]

[However long it takes you to notice, there a twenty of you again. Patches, the Trusty, and Yaiba, the Legendary Bassist, are back among your number. Penny, unfortunately, seems to be missing. Whatever you were wearing to the trial, or at the time of your death, you are back in the clothing you wore when you initially arrived. If anyone checks, CAREFULLY PLEASE, they will find that any powers they may have been missing are back.]

[The room is lit well enough, and there are computer banks and monitors around all the walls, which look to have been monitoring your vitals until just this second. Wires and tubes lead from each table to the center of the room, where a low pool is filled with a thick, milky-looking liquid that looks incredibly disinviting to touch.]

[A door rests on each side of the room, a glowing hand-sized pad beside each.]

[Welcome back, Participants.]

[Now, what do you do?]

((One clarification - any active powers that require some kind of power source or connection from your home worlds will either be not active or severely weakened.))

[Meredith tears off the Velcro and sits up. What the fuck just happened? Where are they? She glances around...

...and suddenly becomes a bit more mechanical-looking, seams appearing to form on her skin at her joints.]

Where's Penny?

[As best you can tell? Not here.]

[But, as mentioned, you've got two bigass metal doors on either side of the room.]

[There's a lot of other stuff to look at in here, and it takes some effort not to get distracted looking at all of it. But Penny is important and she can force herself to focus on that question for now.

She heads straight for whichever door is closest and tries poking at the pad.]

[As soon as they're back into the real world, the velcro restraints and electrodes connected to Shigeo's head illuminate with a blue-ish hue. They suddenly burst off of him with a power.. perhaps a little too forceful and the teenager sits himself up slowly, looking around at the room calmly, wondering what the hell was happening now.]

...hello?

[He calls out first, to see if anyone else is awake.]

[Yeah, sooner or later? Penny's just running up and hugging Shiego.]

[Hopefully after the Neku-goo has evaporated away.]

I'm sorry. Are you okay?

[A hug was probably the last thing Shigeo really expected, but it's not unwanted either. He wraps his arms back around her, and gives a little bit of a nod in reply.]

I'm okay. Are you?

[Kara doesn't bolt straight up, but when her system snaps back into reality, she sits up pretty fast. The velcro straps require only a moment's distraction, and then she's on her feet, mentally counting off the number of people in the room. Until...]

Penny.

[Ah. That might be an issue.]

If she's not here, then where could she be?

[Checking carefully? You clearly don't know Electro.

Might wanna, uh... give him some space right now? Because the second he's awake, guess what. There's electricity just arcing off of him.

[RIP, at least a few computer stations.]

[And a few of those arcs hit that pool of... liquidy stuff in the center of the room, causing an indignant, viscous bubbling for a second.]

[As it does, one of the surviving computer lets out an angry warning tone and the screen flashes red.]

[When Izuku wakes up, it's not slowly and groggily, but with a start. He exhales a heave of a sound and ends up ripping out of the velcro before he even realizes he was strapped down in any way, hands reaching out at his sides to brace himself as he sits up. The scene is reminiscent of a sci-fi horror film in a way, especially when he looks down and realizes that he's wearing his UA uniform, and not the provided jumpsuit he'd changed into a while back. Even his tie is still tied on in the same usual very badly done way as he always does it. He's quick to get up and step away from the table he was laying on, looking over just in time to see bolts of electricity arcing off of Electro's body, which is...alarming. But taking note of the fact that nobody else is being zapped, he can only assume it's coming from him, which means... He balls his hands into tight fists as he stands there, red lines slowly traveling up and through his body, almost like energy tracing up through his veins. It culminates in a flash of green energy sparking off of his body, but it's not electric in the same way Electro's is. It's purely self contained strength. It's an utter relief, knowing that his Quirk is back. But then...that doesn't actually explain what's going on here, either.]

[Well, you've got two new rooms to poke around in so far, and the trial room. Where do you want to start?]

[Just like the first day, Neku wakes up yelling. It's his Thing now. But once he calms down and realizes he's not exploded he gets up to explore with everyone else.

Well first he goes to check on Penny since he kinda exploded on her and also goes to retrieve his pins, MP3 Player/phones and phone from his... locker? But once all that's done (and he has said phones on playing music loud enough to kinda hear outside them) he goes to look at the giant... snot... pool.]

... so what, were we made of this... stuff?

[It sure looks like a thicker version of the rapidly-disappearing stuff from the trial room, if he looked back in there.]

[And there are some wires and conduits leading to one thankfully-unexploded computer station that might be worth checking out.]

[Maybe half an hour has passed, everyone's had enough time to explore and find their belongings, and get everything they might've brought down back out of the trial room (pro tip, you might want to get anything important out of the trial room).]

[That computer in the outer room, where all your stuff was? The one that was nonresponsive when Michael poked at it? It finally dings cheerfully, and begins displaying text onscreen.]

[The lights brighten, and if anyone can see into the trial room, they switch back to normal there as well. The single monitor blinks briefly.]

[The music follows you all as you flee the facility, rushing out into the cold winter air. Fortunately (?) it's quite literally all downhill, the ridge tipping down and down towards the plains and then the forest below. Legs pumping, you all run faster and faster from the now unseen countdown, trying to reach minimum safe distance, whatever that might be.]

[Maybe you're able to mentally keep count, maybe not.]

[Three... two... one...]

[The moment that should be zero passes, the air quiet except for your panicked breathing. Well, if you need to breath. Was it a bluff? One second, two-]

[BOOM]

[Yeah, the lab is- not gone, but a whole lot more wrecked than it was before. You're probably thrown flat by the force of that explosion, too.]

[Upside, maybe that lightshow will attract some help?]

[Cool guys don't look at explosions. Only Neku isn't cool at all, and from his place on the ground he blinks out at the flames.

And then it hits- whatever brought them there was either in that place, or the main facility that could be literally anywhere]
