Welcome, Participants
Nov. 25th, 2018 11:57 amGood morning, Participants. The time is now 7:30 AM.
[Where were you before this? Doesn’t matter, you’re here now, in an unfamiliar bed, surrounded by unfamiliar people, with a slightly-too-cheerful automated voiced chiming over a PA system to wake you up. Your pockets are empty, save for an unfamiliar smartphone type of device that comes alive under your touch, displaying, among other things, a map, a series of profiles, and a list of rules.]
It is understood that you may have questions; please be patient, and gather back in the Common Room in one hour. The Assistant will be present at this time to answer your questions. In the meantime, please feel free to explore the Facility at your leisure.
[The doors to the dorm areas are freely open from the inside, though you’ll find that it takes your electronic id to regain entry once you’ve left. Otherwise, it’s as the voice says, and you’ve got an hour to explore your new surroundings and get to know your fellow kidnappees.]
[Welcome to the Facility.]

Date: 2018-11-25 09:36 pm (UTC)Once she's up, she wastes no time in quietly going through her personal area in the room, peering under the bed, unplugging the lamp from the wall, and flipping through the notebook. The pens go straight into the pocket of the nice leather jacket she's wearing. When she looks in the trunk, however, her back goes stiff for a second before she moves on.
She goes to the dining hall before anything else, checks out the kitchen and looks around for a source for the mysterious food, though once she decides it's safe to eat (she definitely sniffs it first) she eats like she's never seen food before. Some of the food combinations are a little unorthodox, but sugar is a running theme. She leaves with a pastry in her hand and probably anything small -- sugar packets, maybe a coffee creamer or two -- in her pockets, but if anyone goes to the kitchen, they'll see her coincidentally standing very close to the knife block. When she leaves, there's a steak knife missing.
Though she does a general once-over of the place, she gravitates back to the common room fairly early on and settles in one of the chairs, hunched over, eating her danish and pouring sugar packets directly into her mouth, and pulling the collar of her leather jacket close to inhale the smell of it. If anyone seems to be weirded out by any of this, she looks up casually, and in an accented voice says: ]
