Doesn’t matter, you’re here now, in an unfamiliar bed, surrounded by unfamiliar people, with a slightly-too-cheerful automated voiced chiming over a PA system to wake you up. Your pockets are empty, save for an unfamiliar smartphone type of device that comes alive under your touch, displaying, among other things, a map, a series of profiles, and a list of rules.]

It is understood that you may have questions; please be patient, and gather back in the Common Room in one hour. The Assistant will be present at this time to answer your questions. In the meantime, please feel free to explore the Facility at your leisure.

[The doors to the dorm areas are freely open from the inside, though you’ll find that it takes your electronic id to regain entry once you’ve left. Otherwise, it’s as the voice says, and you’ve got an hour to explore your new surroundings and get to know your fellow kidnappees.]

Agreed. I've done more than enough to prevent all but the most dedicated- and perhaps supernatural- to track down even a atom of detail about me. The fact that they even came close is cause for alarm.

... Yes. When it comes to matters of my identity, the less people know about me, the better.

We keep very detailed files on all of you, you know. Not much a human can do to keep secrets from everything.

But this doesn't seem like a demon kind of thing to do. Most of us are a lot more direct.

I specified supernatural for a reason. I doubt there's anything I could hide from the devil himself, but as long as he's not on earth, I feel I'm safe in that regard.

If they're not a demon, that only rules out one of many possibilities.

Could be. I think it's more likely that we've all moved to a different timeline. Seems like there's some parallel universes at play already, I think I'd have heard if Earth started spawning undead humans and sapient crocodiles.
