Your pockets are empty, save for an unfamiliar smartphone type of device that comes alive under your touch, displaying, among other things, a map, a series of profiles, and a list of rules.]
It is understood that you may have questions; please be patient, and gather back in the Common Room in one hour. The Assistant will be present at this time to answer your questions. In the meantime, please feel free to explore the Facility at your leisure.

Most people from my world are born with abilities we call Quirks. They're like super powers...mine gives me enhanced strength.
[He doesn't say aloud that he can't actually reach his Quirk in this place for some reason, but he figures if Michael is supposed to be a demon, he knows that much by now already.]

Someone earlier, they...jumped me? They were upset and wanted answers, and I tried to use my Quirk to get away at first...but I couldn't.
[He realizes a touch too late that this is probably the worst thing he could tell someone, but it's not like everyone here has a Quirk, he's realizing. So...at the very least he's not outmatched entirely. He's learned to think quick on his feet without a Quirk for a while now, which he hopes will work in his favor if things go badly.]

My powers aren't working either, but that's typical when I'm on Earth. The system doesn't want immortals screwing around with humanity. Figured it was just that.

Date: 2018-11-29 06:31 am (UTC)It might be presumptuous of me to assume someone from my world might have done this, but...there are a lot of people who can do specific things. Where I have strength, others might be able to fly, or breathe fire...
[His expression tightens.]
There is very dangerous villain who is known for being able to take Quirks away from people. I don't doubt that he could easily be able to take anyone's power away, even yours. That's why I'm worried.
Either way, if we can find out who's doing all this, we'll have a better chance of finding a way to set things right.
