[A week has gone and past, as has the first of your number. The Researcher revealing himself, more or less, by punishing Patches, the Trusty, for pushing an unclear boundary.]

[And yet, routine seems to have returned. The Researcher makes morning and evening announcements as if nothing has happened. Meals are served in the dining hall. The copies of Oregon Trail in the computer lab now have a text-only mode for some reason? Penny has not been seen since Friday, and attempts to access the Security Room have been fruitless.]

[But overall, life in the Facility has remained unchanged. But the atmosphere is getting tenser - sooner or later something is going to break.]

It must be, considering that I'm out of practice and don't know where to start.

Well. We have instructions for, uh. [Yeah, alright.]] Sauerkraut cake, sure. So basically we just have to beat the butter and sugar together, add eggs, then mix the wet ingredients with the dry ones and add the sauerkraut.

[Veronica kind of wants to gag, but you know. They're gonna go through with this.]

Um. So I guess maybe the first step is to wash the sauerkraut? Try and get some of the juices off it?

[Sonia isn't moving anywhere.]

I never ate sauerkraut. Even when I was human.

[canbebeautiful]

Congratulations. You're not gonna eat any now. [Veronica takes the jar of sauerkraut and presses it to Sonia's chest.] Wash the sauerkraut, please.

[Are you giving out orders to her, powerful vampire with countless powerful allies, head of House Aragona, Almoner of Los Angeles, Viscountess of Bel-Air?

...She opens the jar and holds it under the running faucet.]

[Neku's never really baked before, but he's cooked a little and can follow directions well enough.

He goes over the list, making sure they have all their ingrediants]

Have you baked anything before, Sakuraba-kun?

[He at least looks like he knows what he's doing.]

Not really? But I've cooked before... so I'd guess as long as we follow the recipe it'll be passable?

Mm.. I think so, too.

[Curiously, he peeks around Neku to look at the recipe.]

I've never tried cooking anything before, so I'll be in your care. Tell me what to do and I'll do it.

[Ah...a team-building exercise. Yaiba's been tasked with many in his time; it's something that comes with being in a band full of disasters, and a manager that would rather you didn't all try to stab each other each week.

As one of the aforementioned disasters, he's not...entirely sure what to do. And so, in this situation he asks himself: what would a real man with a full-time job do?

With that in mind, Yaiba takes the card with a flourish and speaks to whoever else is at his station.]

Hence! What is required is Legend of Division of Labour, the method of splitting tasks between members of the workforce!

I will bear the title of breaker of eggs, hence, with my experience of model construction, I therefore have the gentle touch to avoid the consequence of poorly broken eggs.

Ah, recipe, schmecipe. What do we have to make, a dessert? We can just eyeball that stuff, right? Eggs and sugar, and flour? Butter?
