Good morning, Participants. The time is now 7:30 AM.

[Where were you before this? Doesn’t matter, you’re here now, in an unfamiliar bed, surrounded by unfamiliar people, with a slightly-too-cheerful automated voiced chiming over a PA system to wake you up. Your pockets are empty, save for an unfamiliar smartphone type of device that comes alive under your touch, displaying, among other things, a map, a series of profiles, and a list of rules.]

It is understood that you may have questions; please be patient, and gather back in the Common Room in one hour. The Assistant will be present at this time to answer your questions. In the meantime, please feel free to explore the Facility at your leisure.

[The doors to the dorm areas are freely open from the inside, though you’ll find that it takes your electronic id to regain entry once you’ve left. Otherwise, it’s as the voice says, and you’ve got an hour to explore your new surroundings and get to know your fellow kidnappees.]

[Ah. This...ah. Izuku gets pinned immediately, his hands reaching back and gripping at the wall for purchase to make the impact less painful when his back hits the wall. He's quite alarmed by the sudden grab, but he learns one thing in that instant that's very, very important. He can't reach his Quirk. He wasn't going to use it unless he had to, mostly to get away, but...he can't feel it at all. And that's enough to make him break out into a cold sweat that isn't entirely related to Rosa having body-slammed him into the wall just then. He lifts both hands up in a placating gesture, slightly trembling as he swallows and looks at her directly.] I d-don't know any more than you do. I woke up here not r-remembering how I got here...or anything. I'm sorry.

[Holy shit, she needs to stop accidentally attacking teenagers. She's gonna get her badge taken away someday if this keeps up. Rosa grimaces and lets go, backing up a step or two to give Izuku some space.]

I'm kinda jumpy. Sorry you got in the middle of it.

[Izuku coughs a little when he's released, but he doesn't seem upset. If anything he just shakes his head, lifting a hand to rub his throat.] It's okay. I'm u....used to it. [He's been Bakugou's punching bag since he was like 6, this is nothing.] I don't blame you for being tense right now. I'm not happy about it either.

[She turns her head this way and that, cracking her neck, along with her knuckles on both hands.]

Tense is one word for it. Where'd you come from? A dorm room?

Yeah. That's where I just came from, actually. [Well...in a more literal sense it is, anyway.] I've been talking to the people who were in my room when I woke up to see if they knew anything, but they seemed as confused by being here as I was.

Weird. Wonder why they split us up into groups like that if they're just gonna let us wander around anyway?

I think the best reason might be to keep track of us all easier. Even if we end up splitting up and wandering the building, they'd be able to do a headcount based on rooms if one of us happened to wander too far. [He's been wandering himself, though, and so far...he's not really seen any way to get outside, which...he wouldn't have expected anything less.]
