Good morning, Participants. The time is now 7:30 AM.

[Where were you before this? Doesn’t matter, you’re here now, in an unfamiliar bed, surrounded by unfamiliar people, with a slightly-too-cheerful automated voiced chiming over a PA system to wake you up. Your pockets are empty, save for an unfamiliar smartphone type of device that comes alive under your touch, displaying, among other things, a map, a series of profiles, and a list of rules.]

It is understood that you may have questions; please be patient, and gather back in the Common Room in one hour. The Assistant will be present at this time to answer your questions. In the meantime, please feel free to explore the Facility at your leisure.

[The doors to the dorm areas are freely open from the inside, though you’ll find that it takes your electronic id to regain entry once you’ve left. Otherwise, it’s as the voice says, and you’ve got an hour to explore your new surroundings and get to know your fellow kidnappees.]

I didn't expect you to know.

[Maybe she can never look at anyone, maybe she should walk through the building and have that curse work its magic. Maybe she should just check if she still has her powers.

If it doesn't work, she'll just have successfully scared him off.

She turns around - and Izuku would feel nothing weird about it apart from the fact that a Hispanic woman in her late 20's wearing an expensive black, turtleneck, pants, boots, and a golden embroidered vest is staring at him.]

[Izuku is still as she turns to face him, and...in contrast to what she might have been expecting to happen, nothing does. He just stares back at her, blinking. He's at least relieved she's no longer...punching things.] I will leave if you want me to, I just...wanted to make sure you were okay. [More like physically okay, as far as mentally goes he knows being okay is not on the agenda at the moment. He doesn't look afraid of her at all though. Just wary, cautious.]

[So she does have some of her Majesty remaining. That, or someone with enough knowledge of the Kindred Condition removed all traces of the curse. She believes the former, the latter implies too much experimentation done without her consent.]

Hmph. And you woke up in a room as well? They didn't do anything to you, did they? [She's not asking out of concern - just checking if this is some sort of research facility.]

[mightdoriya]

[Izuku nods, then shakes his head before speaking up because he realizes just that alone is going to be confusing as hell-] I woke up in the room over there. [He nods to the direction of dorm 1A.] I don't remember if anyone did anything to me, though. Much less who they might be. [Well, he has a few ideas, but so far there's been no real trace of them yet.]

[aragona]

And your thoughts?

[She crosses her arms, frowning.]

[mightdoriya]

[His thoughts? He has to stop and consider that, because he's surprised she would ask.] ...I don't think this many people just wake up in a building together like this for no reason. The people I talked to in my room didn't seem to remember being approached by anyone unusual before they woke up here, either. Villains are a very real thing where I'm from, and I'm having a hard time not believing they're not involved in some way. There are a lot of things that could have been done to us that we just were made to forget somehow. [Various Quirks would make it a simple matter to brain wash a whole group of people, as well as transporting them to a new location...nothing is out of the realm of possibility.]

[aragona]

Villains?

[A straightforward term that must be a euphemism for something more sinister - much like The Fall.]

I'm not familiar with that group. What city are they stationed in?

[mightdoriya]

It's... [Hm. How does he put this.] Villain is a broader term than that. You have Heroes and Villains that both act how their names imply...there is a group that calls themselves the League of Villains that work together, though. They've been capable of large-scale ambushes in the past, but... [He trails off. Is he saying too much?] To answer your question though, you can find a Villain pretty much anywhere in Japan, just as easily as you can find someone working as a Hero.

[aragona]

Oh, only two factions?

[Simpler than the five the vampires have, but it sounds far more chaotic.]

And their end goals? How did they respondo to The Rain? [...they might not be calling it that.] The end of the world?

[mightdoriya]

The...end of the world? [Hold on] What do you mean?

[aragona]

The day the satellites fell from the sky. Several months ago.

[don't you....remember that?]

I exaggerate. Many people died, but it wasn't the end.

[mightdoriya]

[Any sort of understanding drains from Izuku's face the more she says, and for a moment he doesn't speak at all.] I'm sorry, I...I don't know what you're talking about. Nothing like that has ever happened, not that I remember.

[aragona]

[Memory loss? Just plain stupid?]

Oh my god. Don't lie to me.

[mightdoriya]

I'm not! Honest! [He lifts his hands up quickly, shaking his head.] I have no reason to lie to you about something like that.

[aragona]

Jesus. [She pinches her forehead. What is another explanation? A Ventrue wiped his mind?]

What's the last thing you remember?

[mightdoriya]

[The last thing, huh? Well he doesn't want to be too open with a stranger, but...he also has no reason to outright lie, either. So, then, he'll be selective.] One of my classmates had been kidnapped. The last thing I remember is that we'd just gotten him back to safety. [At least he hopes Bakugou is alright..]

[aragona]

And when did this happen?

[The Rain occurred in late 2013. Izuku would be missing at least a year of time. If he knows about two powerful factions, he must be involved with the supernatural.

Which meant there is a chance he is a Hunter.

Sonia will be wary of this child.]

[mightdoriya]

[Izuku, what on earth have you gotten yourself into all of a sudden.] From my perspective...it just happened. Not even a day ago. That's why I don't understand how I could be here so suddenly. [Well...he can think of a few reasons, but he's pretty sure Sonia isn't interested in hearing more confusing details about his world.]

[aragona]

No, I understand that. Someone must have tampered with my memories, but I don't know how much time was lost...

[Her eyes widen. It could have been centuries. Izuku could have literally been awake weeks ago, seeing that he wasn't panicking about his physiology while Sonia, eternally in her 20's, isn't able to tell.]

Oh no.

[Sonia is fucking pissed and their kidnapper will hear about this.]

What? What is it? [Or the better question is, what else is it.]

[aragona]

They wiped our memories.

[How much has she forgotten? Are the Invictus Alliance doing well without her? What's happening with the Prometheans? Who's going to take down Grace? What's become of her work in rebuilding her House's glory?]

We have to find the year.

[mightdoriya]

[Honestly...the idea had been in the back of Izuku's mind, but it wasn't one he'd really wanted to entertain. It would be simple for someone with a mind-wiping Quirk to make them forget everything...but he decides it's probably best he doesn't bring that up now. He just sets his jaw, trying to keep his expression schooled. It only sort of works to keep the nerves out of his expression. Wait, year? How far back does she think their memories might have been wiped...?] There has to be a something with a date on it somewhere in here. If everyone has a phone on them, then it's not too far to assume there are other devices in the building. Maybe even a calendar.

[aragona]

They can manipulate electronics to display whatever year they like.

[She's messed with her computer's settings before.]

It's a method of control - they hide crucial information from us so we remain confused.

[mightdoriya]

[He wants to ask why they'd need to go so far as to mess with the year, but...he's realizing that this woman is having some issues in regards to the actual time period.] I'm not sure how much knowing the time period is going to help us right now either way. The best I could think to do right now is survey the surroundings and see if there might be any possible openings or weaknesses that might allow us to be able to at least escape this building.

[aragona]

[She grunts in response. Yes, he's right, but she doesn't have to be polite about it.

...And she just leaves him to check out the other rooms for escape. Bye?]
