Good morning, Participants. The time is now 7:30 AM.

[Where were you before this? Doesn’t matter, you’re here now, in an unfamiliar bed, surrounded by unfamiliar people, with a slightly-too-cheerful automated voiced chiming over a PA system to wake you up. Your pockets are empty, save for an unfamiliar smartphone type of device that comes alive under your touch, displaying, among other things, a map, a series of profiles, and a list of rules.]

It is understood that you may have questions; please be patient, and gather back in the Common Room in one hour. The Assistant will be present at this time to answer your questions. In the meantime, please feel free to explore the Facility at your leisure.

[The doors to the dorm areas are freely open from the inside, though you’ll find that it takes your electronic id to regain entry once you’ve left. Otherwise, it’s as the voice says, and you’ve got an hour to explore your new surroundings and get to know your fellow kidnappees.]

[ Chloe shrugs. ]

Ego's a little bruised, but she'll manage. No physical harm done, though, near as I can tell.

[Izuku nods. That's a relief, at least...no injuries means that whoever has them isn't interested in hurting people to get them here, or perhaps to make a point. A beat, and Izuku remembers his manners, quickly straightening and dipping his head a little to Chloe in greeting.] That's good...My name is Midoriya Izuku. Um...can you tell me if you've seen anything or anyone out of the ordinary since you've woken up? [He's listening for any specific traits for specific people in mind...a strange boy with dry skin and hands covering his body, or a man that seems to be comprised of a void itself...]

Chloe Frazer.

[ She frowns. Anything or anyone... ]

No one too out of the ordinary just yet, though one of my roommates is listed as "human comma undead," which does concern me somewhat. Other than that, this whole place is strange, but that't to be expected.

[mightdoriya]

[Oh. That's uh...] M...maybe that was just a misprint? [Typo?? Or...some kind of really unusual power or something...] Either way...it sounds like everyone else is just as confused by being here as I am. I've been trying to see if I could find the person behind all of this, but it doesn't seem like they're around anywhere yet.

I hope so. Don't need a zombie outbreak in here.

[ She said, only kind of joking. ]

Suppose we'll see in an hour, at least partly.

[He isn't sure how much he trusts that, but...they don't really have much other choice but to wait. It's just hard, having to figure out how to hold yourself in a situation like this.] Given the profiles listed, there are a lot of us here, too. There were...four others other than myself in my room, and according to Kageyama-kun there are more rooms otherwise...I'm wondering if there is anyone else around not mentioned in these profiles.

I don't know. Some of them are pretty strange, though, aren't they?

More than just a few. [Though...again, for Izuku it's nothing completely out of the ordinary. He's used to seeing animal-human hybrids simply because that's what their Quirk does to them, so it's hard for him to judge based on profiles only.] I want to hope that they're not dangerous, though...at least probably for the most part. If anything we're all victims here right now.

[ thankfully for chloe's sanity, most everyone seems to look pretty normal. ]

We'll see more when this person on the loudspeaker shows up, I guess.

[Mostly! He can at least understand people being wary of each other, at least. After all, just because you all got kidnapped together doesn't automatically mean everyone can be trusted, no matter how much Izuku wishes that to be true.] I'm not expecting that to go too well, myself. It might turn into a fight if any one of us isn't restrained enough to keep their cool.

Yeah, well, I didn't exactly say people aren't idiots, there.

I suppose we'll see, won't we? Better safe than sorry, at any rate, especially here.

I agree. By the way, I also wanted to ask...going by the profiles, is there anyone else here you recognize? Or are the rest of us all strangers to you?

[ She sighs. ]

Not a one. How about you?

There is one. Someone I go to school with is here. [The phone-device feels heavy in his pocket as he thinks about it. He couldn't find anyone else on the profiles, so the best he can do is assume they're not here.]
