[So, with introductions made, you're all left to your own devices for the time being. Explore, make friends, try not to go insane in your new surroundings. Maybe organize a game of that Trailseeker thing? Your time is your own.]

[You are woken every day at 7:30 AM by the same robotic voice that woke you on day one. At 11pm each night, a similar message plays reminding everyone about the start of quiet hours and dimming the lights.]

[If you want to talk to Penny, she can be found in the Security Office if she's not anywhere else in the Facility. Office hours appear to be whenever.]

[Izuku can't say he's a picky eater by any means, but something about it just reminds him more that he's being held captive against his will by someone with enough confidence in whatever their plan is to feed and keep their captives at least in relative comfort. He doesn't believe that this is just a social experiment or whatever Penny was talking about. That would be too convenient.] Oh. Kageyama-kun... [Izuku looks up when Shigeo sits across from him, offering him a slight smile in greeting.] This kind of food makes me feel like I'm in a whole different country, now. [Which...they very well might be. If it's a clue to their location he'll take it, but it's still just as unsettling.

[hyaku]

[Shigeo smiles back, and he gives a little bit of a nod in agreement.]

I hope we're not in a different country. I don't know how to get home from somewhere like America.

[Said as if he's expecting to have to just walk back or something.]

[mightdoriya]

[That gets a small laugh out of Izuku, though it's a sympathetic one. He doesn't...want to say they probably aren't, because he honestly has no idea. No way of knowing with zero contact with the outside world. He's almost afraid to know.] It will be okay, Kageyama-kun. The food is probably just...different so everyone can have at least something they'll like to eat, right?

[hyaku]

Yeah... probably.

[That actually does relieve Shigeo a lot, and he shoves his fork into the noodles and swirls it around a little.]

You're really smart, Midoriya-kun. You remind me a lot of my brother, Ritsu. He always has solutions to any problem you give him, and he's nice and looks after me all of the time, too. You'd probably make good friends with him.

[mightdoriya]

O-oh, really? Thank you... [That is such high praise all of a sudden? It makes Izuku blush a little, ducking his head with his other hand coming up to run through the back of his hair as he turns his fork in his noodles similarly.] Maybe I'll get the chance to meet Ritsu when we get out of here.

[hyaku]

Really?

[Shigeo sounds excited at the idea of it.. his brother.. doesn't have many friends okay. He needs more.]

I think he'd really like that.

[He picks up his fork when it has enough noodles on it, slowly as if expecting something to happen to it but then he remembers he can't accidentally bend silverware while he doesn't have his powers. So he shoves it in his mouth, realizing just how hungry he was now that he's eating.]

[mightdoriya]

[Izuku decides to finally follow suit before his own plate gets cold, despite only sort of wanting to eat right now. He's gotta eat something.] I didn't grow up with any siblings, you know. It sounds like having a brother is cool.

[hyaku]

It'f--

[Shigeo starts, with a mouthful still but he remembers his manners and waits until he can actually talk before continuing.]

It's really nice. Sometimes it can be pretty stressful, like when you find your brother in the middle of an alley with a ton of people he beat up surrounding him after he gained ESP and he tells you he was scared of you his entire life. With situations like that you just need to talk it out and it'll be okay.

[Except they didn't even talk it out Ritsu was immediately kidnapped and Shigeo almost died trying to save him so they put it past each other but it's fine. Brothers.]

[mightdoriya]

U-uhh... [Wait that...what? Izuku clamps his mouth shut because he was halfway to a mouthful of spaghetti, biting off the noodles so he can quickly finish the forkful before he says anything more, too.] Wait, he...gained ESP? You mean like, it manifested right then? [He decides to skirt the thing about the beating-up in an alley for now. Quirks were usually manifesting at the age of 4, but Shigeo makes it sound like Ritsu was a lot older when this happened. ...at least he hopes he was, holy shit.]

[hyaku]

[Despite Izuku's obvious freaking out over what he was told, Shigeo is calm as can be and doesn't even seem to realize why he's shocked in the first place.]

Yeah. I'm really happy for him too, because he would cry and cry because he couldn't bend a spoon when he was younger.

[He reaches up with his free hand to rub the back of his head cheekily, a proud grin on his face.]

I guess he really wanted to be like his older brother.

[mightdoriya]

[Well...if Shigeo can recall the incident with a smile on his face like that, it means that Ritsu is probably okay, right? Right...] Hah, well...that's understandable. It would be heartbreaking to have someone you look up to so much, but not actually having any way to really live up to them... [Ha...ha...]

[hyaku]

Yeah.. it would be.

Though I don't think he realized how much I looked up to him, too.

[mightdoriya]

[Aw....pure...] Did you tell him that?

[hyaku]

I did. I think that helped a lot.

[He Cried(tm)]

You have to be honest with your siblings, which I think can be really hard for some people. But if you don't then you can end up hating each other instead, and that's really sad.

[mightdoriya]

[Izuku nods, taking another bite of his spaghetti.] That's a really good view to have about things, Kageyama-kun. It sounds like you care about your brother a lot.

[hyaku]

I do. He's my best friend.

[There's a fond look to Shigeo's smile now, and he chows down on some more spaghet]

[mightdoriya]

[PURE] I'm glad you have such a good relationship with your family. Everyone deserves to have people around them that they love and know they can rely on.

[hyaku]

What about you, Midoriya-kun? I know you said you don't have siblings, but what's your family like?
