[You are woken every day at 7:30 AM by the same robotic voice that woke you on day one. At 11pm each night, a similar message plays reminding everyone about the start of quiet hours and dimming the lights.]

[If you want to talk to Penny, she can be found in the Security Office if she's not anywhere else in the Facility. Office hours appear to be whenever.]

Today, the Dining Hall is serving:
Breakfast: French Toast Sticks
Lunch: "Chicken" Nuggets
Dinner: Pierogi and Polish Sassage

[Maybe you've seen your Assistant over the past few days, maybe not. She's been here and there around the Facility, if mostly confined to the Security office.]

[Today, though, she can be found in the Greenhouse. Maybe she's checking up on the various plantlife, making sure they're properly watered -she does seem to be periodically looking at something on her smartphone- but mostly she just seems to be enjoying the not-sunshine and simulated nature.]

[Or maybe you're literally anywhere else in the Facility, and she approaches you. Maybe cautiously, depending on who you are, but approaching.]

Salutations! How are you settling in?

[aragona]

[NOT GREAT, ACTUALLY. Sonia has taken to staring at the shrubbery despondently because what else do you do when you're hungry and bored?

She answers Penny with a deep frown because a punch to the face would do no good.]

You're enjoying this, aren't you?

[Well, only if hurting your hand were to somehow be good. Sonia should know better than anyone else here, their Assistant is built like a perky ginger mack truck.]

I'm- trying to? I try to enjoy everything as much as possible. What would be the use in being miserable?

...Or- did you mean you all being angry, specifically. Because no, I- I don't think I could ever enjoy that, no.

[Well, it took all week, but Meredith has finally made her way over here. Look, it's the farthest open path from her dorm, it was easier to go everywhere else first and that included the media room and computer lab.

She's not entirely surprised to see Penny here. Cute robot friend! She waves!]

[...and meanwhile, she also tries to wirelessly connect to the phone. It's a long shot, but maybe the security settings are completely terrible and she can get an outside connection this way?]

How are you doing today, do you need anything?

[There's no wifi or 4G, sorry. Just the same limited connectivity that lets the electronic IDs act as keys to the dorm rooms. Is that enough to do anything with?]

[But Michael smiles winningly, so as passive-aggressive as that was, it doesn't seem quite aimed at her.]

[What passive-aggressiveness, he's smiling, obviously it's a joke.]

Absolutely! What can I do for you?

Well, it's a step up from my last prison. So I guess that means fine.

[...it's said extremely bitterly, but Electro's never exactly a ray of sunshine and it's not exactly meant for Penny anyway.]

[She does pick up on the general tone, even if he says things are fine.]

Is there anything I could do to make it. MORE fine? Within reason.

[Still can't conjure up an exit, in other words. Maybe a Spider-Man punching bag? Max's likes and dislikes are pretty people-centric.]

[Izuku was starting to get restless. He was used to having such a rigorous training schedule thanks to school that the inactivity here had been making him a little stir crazy. Sure, a break now and then was fine, but...the knowledge that he couldn't use his Quirk at all made him very, very anxious. You might catch Izuku very briefly at Breakfast, but he's practically jogging through the kitchen as he grabs a couple french toast sticks to take...somewhere, putting one in his mouth before he's off again. Unless you stop him, first. For the rest of the day after, Izuku can be found in the Greenhouse. At first he can be seen doing various kinds of stretches before he launches into full on push-ups, sit-ups, all manner of exercises. And he doesn't just do a couple, he does well up into a hundred of each before he breaks for a bit. After that, he's on his feet for some proper training practice. He has nobody to practice with, and no Quirk to utilize, but that doesn't mean he can't still go through the motions. He imagines invisible enemies around him and dodges them accordingly, darting across the grass and leaping like a jackrabbit, bounding off of one of the trees at one point before he lands and skids, panting. It's a lot for a 15 year-old to be doing, but he doesn't stop. He keeps at it until it's well into the night, and only then does he head to bed for the first actual sleep he's had simply through working himself to exhaustion.]

[...yeah that doesn't seem right for a mortal.

But working out doesn't sound like a bad way to prepare for her escape. Sonia leaves Izuku to his training to grab fabric from the craft room, wraps them around her hands, and punches the thickest tree she finds.]

[Izuku picks himself up off the ground to stand when he hears the sound of dull punching against a tree not too far from him, and he decides to break for a moment to check it out. He's only slightly surprised to see that it's Sonia when he finally locates the source of the sound.] Looks like we both had the same idea, huh?

Salutations, Mister Midoriya! I'm glad to see you're keeping busy.

[mightdoriya]

P-penny-san! [Izuku gets a little startled by her sudden presence, turning around with his arm wiping across his brow.] Yeah, I...I'd rather not get behind on my training, if I'm going to be here for a while.

[Meredith's been busy all week, discovering all kinds of interesting things! All these nonfiction books and documentaries might not be other people's idea of a good time, but she hasn't seen most of them before, and that makes them interesting to her. Especially since there's a whole bunch of regular history and science she just? Doesn't know?

For something more interesting to normal people, she spends the morning in the media room finishing up a Bill Nye the Science Guy marathon.

Later in the day she makes her way to the greenhouse. She meets Penny here, but that's not going to stop her from investigating on her own here.

In what may be a surprise, she also shows up in the dining hall for both lunch and dinner. At lunch the quotes around "chicken" have her curious, and she tries them to see if she can identify them. Similarly, she turns up for dinner because she wants to know what a pierogi is. In both cases, she seems to enjoy the food quite a lot for a robot who theoretically shouldn't have to eat.]

[This place is pretty big, and there's a lot of ground to cover. Fortunately, it's pretty colorful and full of unique things to look at while you're searching, and everything is helpfully labeled. A number of the plants are enthusiastically if unobtrusively mentioned to be poisonous, with a variety of nasty effects, mixed in seamlessly among the harmless or even beneficial flora.]

[Which makes the bright red warning signs on a heavily fenced-off enclosure stand out even more than it would normally.]

[Yep, that definitely stands out. Meredith tells herself to carefully inspect every one of those flowers first, but... the signs. They beckon. They say "TYPE: BLUE, COME AND READ US, AND THEN SEE WHAT'S IN THIS ENCLOSURE."

No, actually they probably don't. What do they say?]

...Do you even need to eat?

[Asks the guy who literally cannot and is just here because fuck it, got nothing else to do.]

[So apparently there were blood bags in the vending machines the entire time and the robot never bothered to mention it to the resident vampire. If Sonia had never attempted to fight her before, she would have done it right there and then.

She bangs her fists on the glass several times before noticing the ID card.

Swipe.

And there's the blood bag, nothing wrong about it...apparently. It could be cursed, it could make her bound to the vampire that provided this. But you know what? She's hungry.

Sorry to anyone in the dining hall. Sonia tears the plastic open with her fangs and drinks the entire thing right there in the middle of the room.]

[Look, he could have assumed that was just a goth-themed bag of kool-aid if not for the very familiar blood smell.

Neku pushes his food away and makes a displeased noise. Gross]

[It's not a lot, and stored blood is never as good as fresh out of the veins, but oh is it satisfying to guzzle down all of the contents in one go.

Vampires don't need to breathe, but when the bag is drained, Sonia pulls it away from her mouth with a satisfied sigh, not caring that her entire mouth is stained red.]
