[So, with introductions made, you're all left to your own devices for the time being. Explore, make friends, try not to go insane in your new surroundings. Maybe organize a game of that Trailseeker thing? Your time is your own.]

[You are woken every day at 7:30 AM by the same robotic voice that woke you on day one. At 11pm each night, a similar message plays reminding everyone about the start of quiet hours and dimming the lights.]

[If you want to talk to Penny, she can be found in the Security Office if she's not anywhere else in the Facility. Office hours appear to be whenever.]

[A small panel, previously indistinguishable from the other tiles in the ceiling, slides open. Penny's eyes snap wide, and she leaps back from Patches, who slumps back against the wall and begins struggling upright.]

Trusty. Are you aware that human flesh burns at temperatures as low as 109.4 degrees Fahrenheit?

[Patches snarls up in the general direction of the ceiling, spitting.]

"Fuck you!"

Very well.

[A small metallic nozzle appears from the opening in the ceiling. A small glowing ball spits forth, arrowing down at Patches as Penny turns towards anyone who might have gathered at this point, waving her arms frantically.]

BACKBACKBACKBACKBACKBACKGETBACK-

[Patches has just enough time for his eyes to go wide in fear, and the tiny ball detonates.]

[It's a massive explosion, hot and loud and physical enough to push back or knock over anyone in the hallway. There's a short, cut-off scream, barely audible over the explosion.]

[As the light and heat fades, Patches is completely gone.]

[A barely recognizable silhouette against the charred wall is it.]
