[You are woken every day at 7:30 AM by the same robotic voice that woke you on day one. At 11pm each night, a similar message plays reminding everyone about the start of quiet hours and dimming the lights.]

[If you want to talk to Penny, she can be found in the Security Office if she's not anywhere else in the Facility. Office hours appear to be whenever.]

The Trusty was attempting to gain access to a restricted area. The Assistant failed to sufficiently dissuade him.

I took action to correct the issue.

[It's almost like saying that makes it more real than it already was, and Shigeo visibly looks shaken. They really did just burn someone to a crisp over trying to get into a locked room. They really did kill someone over something stupid like that.]

You killed him. You didn't even give him a chance to apologize for what he did.

He did actually attempt to make an apology, immediately before attempting to assault the Assistant.

But you are absolutely correct that I killed him. I detest rulebreakers.

[Shigeo is quiet for a moment, thinking that over. If he really did try to assault someone... well, it doesn't making killing him justified. Nothing makes killing people justified. And he's not sure if it makes him feel any better or worse, especially with that part about hating rulebreakers.]

...what if someone breaks a rule on accident?

Then they will be reminded to be more careful in the future. Forcibly, if necessary.

My master says that people who abuse their power over someone else to hurt them are no better than the people they hurt. Even if that person did something horrible.

I knew someone who thought he was more special than everyone else because he had ESP. He tried to take over the world. But my master taught him that just because you have powers, or knowledge, that other people don't have doesn't mean you deserve to take over the world. Or to decide if people get to die over breaking a rule.

He's just a commoner like everyone else. So am I. So are you.

Your powers have been taken to create a controlled environment. Bold of you to assume they would allow you to harm me.

[He's pretty damn confident in his skills, but it's mostly just because he's angry. Grief and shock from the murder turned to anger and bitterness over a robot with a superiority complex killing people just because he thinks he can.

It's something Shigeo absolutely can't stand, and he wishes his master was here right now. He was much better with intimidating people with his words.]

I won't try anything without them, but when I get my powers back I'll give you a chance to apologize.
