Good morning, Participants. The time is now 7:30 AM.

[Where were you before this? Doesn’t matter, you’re here now, in an unfamiliar bed, surrounded by unfamiliar people, with a slightly-too-cheerful automated voiced chiming over a PA system to wake you up. Your pockets are empty, save for an unfamiliar smartphone type of device that comes alive under your touch, displaying, among other things, a map, a series of profiles, and a list of rules.]

It is understood that you may have questions; please be patient, and gather back in the Common Room in one hour. The Assistant will be present at this time to answer your questions. In the meantime, please feel free to explore the Facility at your leisure.

[The doors to the dorm areas are freely open from the inside, though you’ll find that it takes your electronic id to regain entry once you’ve left. Otherwise, it’s as the voice says, and you’ve got an hour to explore your new surroundings and get to know your fellow kidnappees.]

What the hell...?

[Michael, waking in Dorm A1, stands quickly and gives his bed a suspicious look. Since when does he sleep? That's for humans to waste half their lives on. Sure, it's a little boring sitting around waiting for them all to wake up again, but he's still got better things to spend his nights on. Lots of Internet. All-night fast food restaurants. Making the journalism department seem haunted.

Not that he's...in their journalism classroom anymore.

Okay. First things first.]

Janet? [Looking around the room: no Janet. Looking through this weird phone: one Janet!] Janet!

[He's quick to leave the dorm and go out into the halls, looking around. He doesn't seem particularly panicked yet - if he's here with a bunch of humans, then things aren't as bad as they could be - but he's certainly very focused. Exploring the place can wait until he's sure Janet's alright.

After locating Janet, Michael calms down entirely, and settles down in the common room for a little while. The profiles already kinda screwed him, so there's no point in making up a fake name or persona here. It's a shame, really, he had so many ideas! No, all he can do now is maybe soften the demon thing a little. Watching people freak out about it sounds a little funny, but not great in the longer term. He'll approach people who aren't already actively freaking out over the kidnapping thing, offering them a smile and a courteous handshake.]

[Profile screwing notwithstanding, at least in Izuku's case the knowledge of having a demon walking around with an alligator man isn't the wildest thing he's come across. Not even close. Which might come as a surprise since he certainly looks like a proper candidate for freaking out...when, instead, he just takes Michael's hand in kind and smiles back at him, if just a touch awkwardly.] Midoriya Izuku. I think I saw you in the dorm room, earlier...? But I left before we got a chance to meet.

Don't worry about it! I was trying to find my friend Janet, so I wouldn't have stopped to meet you anyway.

[it sounds rude but he smiles while he says it, so]

Are you really fifteen? I would have guessed younger. [Probably another good reason he didn't talk to you before reading the profiles.]

[I MEAN THAT'S...VALID AT LEAST he was looking for his classmates and anyone else he might have known first and foremost himself, anyway, so he can relate. To his question though, Izuku nods.] Yeah...though I can understand why you might think that. [He's a small, lanky boy with freckles and hair bigger than his head, he looks closer to 12 than he does 15.] I'm actually in my first year of highschool right now.

Well. Hell's a bureaucracy, you gotta at least learn to give a good presentation. Being kidnapped's a new one, though. Don't suppose this is some fun human tradition I haven't heard about?

Nope, unless we've all signed up for the strangest American fraternity-slash-sorority out there and don't remember it. Little concerning that they managed to take you in, though, I won't lie.

Understandable, but it might not be that bad. I was already on Earth before this, and my kind aren't nearly as powerful there. I think it's to keep us from just, you know...

[He gestures vaguely to indicate "fucking around with humanity".]

...interfering. Whoever did this might be just as fragile as any human!

[Ah, here's somewhat Spy was interested in meeting. He's never had the chance to meet a demon, though Medic says they're "not so bad once you get to know them". Which is incredibly concerning, considering the doctor's own moral standing.

That said, he takes Michael's hand in his own without complaint, nodding.]

Tell me- how accurate would you say the information is regarding yourself?

Reasonably. No mortal should've really had access to most of that, but...

[Shrug. Clearly they did!]

Agreed. I've done more than enough to prevent all but the most dedicated- and perhaps supernatural- to track down even a atom of detail about me. The fact that they even came close is cause for alarm.

... Yes. When it comes to matters of my identity, the less people know about me, the better.

We keep very detailed files on all of you, you know. Not much a human can do to keep secrets from everything.

[He just has to try to harsh that buzz.]

But this doesn't seem like a demon kind of thing to do. Most of us are a lot more direct.

No real reason. We aren't all named things like Beelzebub, you know, we grew out of our collective edgy phase a while back. What're you named Helena for?

It is a holy name. The archangel's. [ She tips her head to the side, looking genuinely curious. ] Doesn't it burn your tongue?

No. I've seen angels pass through a few times, I think they're all just named things like Becky.

[ Apparently they're shaking hands now, even if he isn't the world's greatest social butterfly. He'll draw his hand away soon enough though. But he distinctly remembers this guy's profile as sticking out for a few reasons. ]

So, apparently according to their information, you're a Demon. Is that a mistake or ... ?

[ Getting right into it, but hey nobody's perfect. ]

[ His lips twitch upwards for a second, but settle for not sticking that way so he can keep a neutral expression. He's learning new things every day...he's still not sure if he believes it, though. ]

I take it the other demons are not as polite?

[ And he is still unsure of all of this really, but he also imagines the others may be just mindlessly evil demons. ]

Not typically, no. Also, Janet and I have committed a fair amount of treason at this point. Well - treason for me, just regular crime for her.
