[You are woken every day at 7:30 AM by the same robotic voice that woke you on day one. At 11pm each night, a similar message plays reminding everyone about the start of quiet hours and dimming the lights.]

[If you want to talk to Penny, she can be found in the Security Office if she's not anywhere else in the Facility. Office hours appear to be whenever.]

[So apparently there were blood bags in the vending machines the entire time and the robot never bothered to mention it to the resident vampire. If Sonia had never attempted to fight her before, she would have done it right there and then.

She bangs her fists on the glass several times before noticing the ID card.

And there's the blood bag, nothing wrong about it...apparently. It could be cursed, it could make her bound to the vampire that provided this. But you know what? She's hungry.

Sorry to anyone in the dining hall. Sonia tears the plastic open with her fangs and drinks the entire thing right there in the middle of the room.]

[Look, he could have assumed that was just a goth-themed bag of kool-aid if not for the very familiar blood smell.

Neku pushes his food away and makes a displeased noise. Gross]

[It's not a lot, and stored blood is never as good as fresh out of the veins, but oh is it satisfying to guzzle down all of the contents in one go.

Vampires don't need to breathe, but when the bag is drained, Sonia pulls it away from her mouth with a satisfied sigh, not caring that her entire mouth is stained red.]

Does it taste weird when it's been refrigerated?

A little, but it's better than risking hunger.

Have you considered microwaving it? Or heating it up on the stove?

She makes a face] That wouldn't improve the taste.

Probably not, but it'd be hot! Warm and gross is usually preferable to cold and gross, in terms of food, isn't it?

Meat? If we had someone infuse it with Vitae, I yes, but that's best done for social events when someone bothers to put in the effort.

Why would I care about vampire stuff?

Aren't your kind the sort to meddle in the affairs of other supernaturals?

Not as often as that. It's completely illegal!

All my business has been with angels. Keep it in the afterlife, you know.

[Raises an eyebrow.]

Angels are real?

Oh, yes. Real uptight sort. Not really all that different from us in terms of power or ability, it's mostly just the sweatervests.

You sound insincere. [But that could be attributed to him being a demon.] Though this could be attributed with the "multiple universe" theory.

Oh, obviously there's different universes at play here!

[Not, uh, addressing the insincerity at all I guess]

Mine doesn't have half this bullshit. Our humans aren't anywhere near making real artificial intelligence.

That's one point where we would agree.

But if they were able to remove my powers, they must have Kindred in this universe.

[eudaimonikos]

Well, not necessarily. Infinite universes mean infinite possibilities - there could be a billion other things out there that could do it, and you'd never know.

'Course, if we focus too much on the nature of endless possibility, we'll never get anywhere.

[aragona]

And an endless search for home.

[mmmmm]

But the trail can't be completely covered.

[eudaimonikos]

No. They must be keeping records, if nothing else, or else they're not very good at research.

[aragona]

They have some sort of powerful computer in the facility. Whatever we need has to be in there.

[Eyes the demon. She both trusts and can't trust him.]

The first step is breaking our way down there.

[Michael nods.]

I'm trying to make friends with Penny, but I don't know how much she could help. Seems like she can just be reset every time she starts to question her orders.
